Dip Test Strips
Measure the chemical balance of your hot tub or above ground pool
Dip Test Strips are a quick and easy way to check chemical levels in your above ground pool or hot tub. Using the chlorine, alkalinity and pH testing strips to check water balance enables you to identify what chemicals need to be added to bring them within the correct parameters. Untested water can become a breeding ground for beastly bacteria or develop a chemical imbalance that makes eyes and skin feel uncomfortable.

Measures:
pH
Measure the pH levels of your water to so you can ensure the water is safe and comfortable to use.
pH levels should be 7.2 – 7.6
Chlorine
Ensure you have the correct amount of chlorine in your pool or hot tub to help prevent bacteria and harmful organisms.
Chlorine levels should be 1-3 mg/litre (ppm) for pools and 3-5 mg/Litre (ppm) for hot tubs
Total Alkalinity
Measure the total alkalinity levels to help prevent your water becoming corrosive.
Levels should measure 80 – 100 ppm or 100 – 120 ppm
How to use:
Dip one test strip in to your hot tub/pool water and quickly remove it
Hold the strip horizontally
Check the results against the colour chart (printed on the container)
Use Clearwater chemicals to adjust the levels if required
